Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and process client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
  • Assist controllers with account status updates and follow-ups on collections.
  • Track and review attorney time entries to support billing processes.
  • Maintain organized billing records and resolve billing-related inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to enhance office operations and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and partners to address billing questions and concerns.
  • Utilize legal billing systems and case management platforms effectively.
  • Support office tasks and contribute to maintaining a productive work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or administrative roles.
  • Preferred experience in a law firm setting and familiarity with LEDES billing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with attorneys and staff.
  • Experience with legal billing systems or case management platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with initial onsite requirements.
