Overview
- Support the Restructuring Department with legal research, case file management, and preparation for bankruptcy trials and hearings.
- Draft and file bankruptcy documents, including motions, petitions, and proofs of claim, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Coordinate court filings and document service, adhering to jurisdiction-specific rules and guidelines.
- Prepare fee applications and monthly statements, reviewing entries for compliance with U.S. Trustee guidelines.
- Conduct legal research using Lexis and Westlaw, performing cite-checking and fact-checking tasks.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to ensure accurate and timely completion of case-related tasks.
- Maintain case files, monitor dockets, and track critical deadlines across multiple matters.
- Work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office presence and remote work effectively.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
- Three to five years of experience in a law firm handling restructuring matters.
- Familiarity with bankruptcy laws, practices, and local jurisdiction rules.
- Proficiency in legal research tools like Lexis and Westlaw.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical, administrative, and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Notary certification preferred but not required.
