Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive laboratory tests across various clinical sections to support diagnostic processes.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Analyze patient specimens with precision to provide actionable data for medical decisions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory findings effectively.
  • Document and report laboratory results in compliance with established standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
  • ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency with EPIC, Vitros, Unity, and WellSky systems is advantageous.
  • Specialty certifications through ASCP are highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
