Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction project management for energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to implement innovative solutions for modernizing facilities and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and subcontractor agreements to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Oversee risk management, technical due diligence, and performance guarantees throughout project phases.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols across all construction activities.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and verification plans for energy conservation measures.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and driving project success.
  • Contribute to client relationship management and business development efforts to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise project teams, including Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor agreements to maintain project efficiency.
  • Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Coordinate commissioning protocols and post-project maintenance plans for operational success.
  • Monitor project progress and provide comprehensive updates to stakeholders.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and contributing to strategic planning.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Strong knowledge of energy systems, HVAC, and sustainability practices.
  • Experience in implementing safety and quality control standards.
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to travel extensively or relocate as project needs dictate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.
