Senior Devops Engineer

Overview

• Lead the development and optimization of scalable Kubernetes clusters for high-performance cloud environments.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and GCP using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions and Flux CD for seamless deployments.
• Create automation tools in Python to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Establish monitoring systems with Prometheus and Grafana for proactive issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and governance standards across all systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions.
• Promote best practices in cloud-native technologies and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycles, including upgrades, scaling, and performance tuning.
• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient application deployments.
• Automate workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement observability systems to ensure comprehensive monitoring and alerting capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to architect scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in multi-cloud environments.
• Document processes and workflows to enhance organizational knowledge sharing.
• Support production services to ensure continuous operational reliability.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Terraform, and Terragrunt technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Flux CD.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills to support team collaboration.
