Job Description

Overview

  • Support HR functions, including benefits administration, recruitment, and employee relations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate leave of absence processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, both electronic and paper, for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in planning and organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Provide support in handling claims related to accidents, disability, and unemployment.
  • Collaborate with HR Manager and departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
  • Work in a first-shift schedule, Monday to Friday, in an on-site capacity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, claims processing, and invoice auditing.
  • Manage leave of absence processes, coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including interviewing and reference checks.
  • Maintain attendance records and generate reports for management.
  • Process new hires and separations, ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Coordinate social activities to enhance employee engagement and morale.
  • Support HR compliance with laws and regulations, ensuring professional discretion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 1-3 years of HR experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with HRIS software is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations required.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
