Solutions Engineer

Overview

• Serve as a technical expert, guiding customers through the lifecycle of geospatial solutions and ensuring seamless integration and satisfaction.
• Translate complex customer requirements into innovative technical solutions using advanced geospatial technologies and APIs.
• Develop and deliver impactful demos, prototypes, and workflows to illustrate solution capabilities and benefits.
• Assist customers in selecting and utilizing diverse datasets, including EO, SAR, IR, RF, and 3D formats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product roadmaps and align solutions with customer needs.
• Create comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and onboarding materials to ensure customer success and engagement.
• Deliver engaging training sessions and workshops to enhance customer proficiency with geospatial tools and workflows.
• Support proposal development and technical evaluations, contributing expertise to secure new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Act as the primary technical lead for customer accounts, ensuring successful onboarding and ongoing support.
• Design and implement solution architectures tailored to customer requirements and platform capabilities.
• Develop and present demonstrations, prototypes, and workflows showcasing the value of geospatial solutions.
• Guide customers in selecting appropriate datasets for their applications, optimizing data utilization.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine offerings and address customer feedback.
• Produce detailed documentation and training materials to facilitate customer understanding and success.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance customer expertise in geospatial workflows.
• Contribute to proposal development and respond to RFPs with technical insights and solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field, such as geospatial sciences or engineering.
• 5-10+ years of experience in solutions engineering, geospatial analysis, or remote sensing.
• Proficiency with QGIS, ArcGIS, web mapping services, and scripting languages like Python.
• Strong understanding of remote sensing principles and geospatial data workflows.
• Experience designing technical solutions and effectively communicating trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise-level customer support processes.
• Preferred expertise in SAR, multi-sensor fusion, and AI/ML geospatial workflows.
• Ability to quickly create visualizations or dashboards for data representation and analysis.
