Overview
- Design and develop innovative electrical systems and products from concept to production release.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering environment to ensure project success.
- Perform detailed electrical design activities including circuit design and system integration.
- Evaluate and validate designs through simulation, testing, and verification.
- Troubleshoot electrical and system-level failures to implement corrective actions.
- Support manufacturing and production activities as required.
- Generate and maintain engineering documentation including schematics and design reports.
- Contribute to the electrical architecture and design of advanced embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design battery-powered systems and analog/digital circuits for compact designs.
- Perform power and signal integrity analysis and high-speed data transmission interface design.
- Apply EMC/EMI-conscious design practices to ensure compliance.
- Support PCB component placement and layout activities for high-density designs.
- Collaborate with PCB vendors on stack-up development and technical reviews.
- Develop FPGA and SoC platforms, including video processing pipelines.
- Utilize FPGA development tools and simulation tools for design validation.
- Generate fabrication and assembly documentation for production readiness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Proficiency with ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Hands-on experience with system integration and debugging.
- Familiarity with FPGA development tools and high-speed communication interfaces.
- Experience with electrical design principles for ruggedized environments preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.
