Job Description

Overview

  • Design and develop innovative electrical systems and products from concept to production release.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering environment to ensure project success.
  • Perform detailed electrical design activities including circuit design and system integration.
  • Evaluate and validate designs through simulation, testing, and verification.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and system-level failures to implement corrective actions.
  • Support manufacturing and production activities as required.
  • Generate and maintain engineering documentation including schematics and design reports.
  • Contribute to the electrical architecture and design of advanced embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design battery-powered systems and analog/digital circuits for compact designs.
  • Perform power and signal integrity analysis and high-speed data transmission interface design.
  • Apply EMC/EMI-conscious design practices to ensure compliance.
  • Support PCB component placement and layout activities for high-density designs.
  • Collaborate with PCB vendors on stack-up development and technical reviews.
  • Develop FPGA and SoC platforms, including video processing pipelines.
  • Utilize FPGA development tools and simulation tools for design validation.
  • Generate fabrication and assembly documentation for production readiness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration and debugging.
  • Familiarity with FPGA development tools and high-speed communication interfaces.
  • Experience with electrical design principles for ruggedized environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.
