Job Description

Overview

  • Support the legal team in a dynamic financial services environment, handling diverse legal and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with entity formation, corporate governance documents, and compliance-related activities.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including NDAs, investment letters, and vendor agreements.
  • Coordinate corporate transaction closings and maintain organized documentation systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless legal operations.
  • Contribute to board meeting preparations and distribution of related materials.
  • Engage in KYC processes for trading agreements and private transactions.
  • Opportunity to work on-site with occasional remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Track, review, and negotiate NDAs and non-reliance letters with counterparties.
  • Prepare and maintain entity formation documents and corporate governance materials.
  • Assist in drafting and proofreading legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate and support corporate transaction closings, including document execution tracking.
  • Manage deadlines for legal reviews and negotiations, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for bank and securities account openings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-ranked institution is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or law firms is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with KYC processes and corporate governance documentation.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
