Overview
- Provide medical support to healthcare providers and assist in clinical activities under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
- Ensure exam rooms are prepared, stocked, and cleaned for patient encounters and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Organize and prepare patient summary sheets and charts for daily clinic operations.
- Call patients from the lobby into exam rooms and obtain chief complaints and vital signs.
- Document patient information and vital signs in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Assist with patient care tasks and perform phlebotomy as needed, adhering to universal precautions.
- Adapt to schedule changes including late clinic hours and Saturday clinics as required.
- Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and computer literacy.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform phlebotomy tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes, including late clinic hours and Saturday clinics.
