Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and file tax returns for federal, state, and local jurisdictions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Manage tax compliance for trusts, LLCs, partnerships, and tax-exempt entities, addressing diverse financial structures.
- Provide strategic tax and estate planning advice to partners, employees, and internal investors.
- Assist in producing partner-specific financial statements and cash flow schedules to support planning efforts.
- Conduct tax planning and research at the management company level, addressing audits, apportionment, and credit analyses.
- Review and ensure compliance with Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) filings for applicable jurisdictions.
- Stay updated on evolving tax regulations in the US and relevant foreign jurisdictions, providing timely insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial operations and reporting processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-8+ years of tax accounting experience, preferably within complex financial environments.
- CPA or EA certification preferred, demonstrating advanced professional expertise.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with database applications and accounting software like QuickBooks.
- Strong organizational and execution skills, with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.
- Analytical mindset with a keen interest in addressing complex financial challenges.
- Ability to adapt to evolving tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
