Overview

  • Manage ground-up grocery construction projects across the Southeast region, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to maintain project efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate on-site activities, supervise construction teams, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Travel extensively within the Southeast region, with opportunities to return home every two weeks.
  • Work on diverse projects including retail expansions, fitness centers, and grocery store constructions.
  • Contribute to a growing organization with a solid backlog of projects and a reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and safety compliance.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, addressing any concerns proactively.
  • Foster strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and maintaining open communication.
  • Oversee logistics and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in construction management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision, with a preference for 12 years.
  • Proven expertise in managing ground-up retail and grocery store construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Southeast region.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for construction projects.
