Overview

  • Lead operations for multiple ambulatory surgery centers, ensuring excellence in patient care and operational performance.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance service line growth and organizational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and leadership teams to foster innovation and quality improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and operational strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Support physician partnerships and credentialing processes to strengthen medical staff relations.
  • Identify opportunities for service line expansion and implement improvements to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and drive infection control initiatives.
  • Oversee vendor contracts and ensure efficient utilization of resources across facilities.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational reviews with corporate leadership.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide operational and financial leadership for multiple ambulatory surgery centers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead day-to-day operations, collaborating with administrators and medical staff to optimize performance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards across all facilities.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets, addressing financial risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Support physician credentialing processes and foster strong partnerships with medical staff.
  • Lead facility leadership teams, overseeing workforce planning and development initiatives.
  • Drive infection control programs and initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor and service contracts to ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and performance reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ambulatory surgery center or hospital surgical leadership.
  • Preferred 7 years of experience in healthcare operations management.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and collaboration.
  • Experience in physician relations and credentialing processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and implement operational improvements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for regional oversight and collaboration.
