Job Description

Overview

  • Coordinate and oversee field operations for designated areas and trades on construction projects, ensuring alignment with planned sequences and schedules.
  • Implement and enforce safety and quality control procedures to uphold high standards of project execution.
  • Supervise field workforce to ensure efficient and cost-effective work execution while maintaining productivity.
  • Develop and execute plans for optimal utilization of equipment and resources to meet project goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Identify and cultivate connections with industry professionals to generate new opportunities and partnerships.
  • Contribute to team growth by actively recruiting and mentoring top industry talent.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation of work in accordance with contract documents and project schedules.
  • Monitor project milestone dates, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met effectively.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of activity durations and equipment utilization plans.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to align with project schedules.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Identify causes of budget discrepancies and implement corrective measures to maintain financial integrity.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and address their needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize advanced construction management software platforms for efficient project oversight and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of construction management experience, including supervisory roles on significant projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, PlanGrid, and P6.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and proven ability to enforce them effectively on job sites.
  • Demonstrated expertise in directing subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
  • Alignment with standards of excellence, including adaptability, ethical conduct, and commitment to quality.
  • Experience managing construction projects valued at $15M or more, showcasing leadership and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on field experience in construction operations, emphasizing problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
