Overview
- Lead and supervise the Cash Accounting department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to financial standards.
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of achievement and professional growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOP standards in all accounting practices.
- Provide timely communication of reconciliation variances and issues to upper management.
- Promote a customer-focused approach within the department through proactive communication.
- Support facility personnel and department leaders with accounting and financial inquiries.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage, develop, and mentor team members, conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
- Review cash reconciliations and provide constructive feedback to ensure accuracy.
- Address work quality issues and team concerns promptly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain processes for timely financial analysis and reporting.
- Investigate and communicate reconciliation variances to management.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOP standards.
- Experience with healthcare accounting and systems like Blackline or Peoplesoft preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify focus areas.
