Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and implement advanced electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and energy-efficient solutions.
- Prepare and review detailed technical documentation, drawings, and specifications for various projects.
- Perform load calculations and ensure adherence to NEC and other relevant codes.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve seamless project integration and execution.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering skill development.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction phases to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address technical challenges effectively.
- Lead client-facing initiatives, ensuring project leadership and accountability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design; consulting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SKM/ETAP.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and relevant building codes.
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, higher education, or industrial projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for client-facing roles.
