Mbs Trade Support

Overview

• Provide trade support for TBA/MBS transactions, ensuring seamless operations and accurate execution.
• Collaborate closely with traders to manage allocations, trade processing, and settlement tasks.
• Perform trade reconciliation and execution confirmation to maintain operational integrity.
• Work on the trading desk to support daily activities and resolve issues promptly.
• Gain hands-on experience in trade operations with training provided for unfamiliar tasks.
• Contribute to the efficiency of trading operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies during trade execution.
• Develop expertise in MBS trade support functions through continuous learning and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Support traders in managing TBA/MBS trade allocations and processing tasks.
• Handle settlement procedures to ensure timely and accurate trade completion.
• Perform reconciliation of trades to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Confirm execution details with counterparties and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address operational challenges effectively.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide desk support for traders, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of trade support functions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
• Preferred experience of 1 year in trade support or related functions.
• Strong understanding of TBA/MBS trade operations and processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with traders and internal teams.
• Proficiency in trade reconciliation and execution confirmation tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new trade support functions.
