Job Description

Overview

  • Support trade execution with a focus on derivatives product coverage in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Ensure accurate booking, structuring, and reflection of derivative transactions across internal systems and reporting platforms.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Deal Teams, Tax, and Portfolio Finance to align trades with strategy and valuation methodologies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using Excel, Python, and AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Cross-train across derivative and private market products to support team scalability and continuity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, counterparties, and fund administrators for smooth execution and issue resolution.
  • Operate in a collaborative, cross-functional team model with exposure to trading, finance, and technology.
  • Engage in a high-performance culture requiring adaptability and broad ownership mindset.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Book and validate derivative transactions with speed and accuracy, ensuring alignment with Front Office intent.
  • Support lifecycle management of trades, including resets, payments, and amendments.
  • Coordinate with Technology teams to ensure accurate trade capture flows into valuation platforms and dashboards.
  • Develop automation solutions using Excel, Python, and AI tools to streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth execution of trades.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Cross-train across additional products to support team scalability and continuity.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration across teams and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in middle office, trade support, or derivatives operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with derivative products, trade booking, and lifecycle events.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python, and AI tools for data analysis and automation.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, MarkitWire, and trade capture systems.
  • Solid understanding of valuation concepts across Swaps, FX, Rates, Futures, Credit, and Fixed Income.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and willingness to engage across functions.
