Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Develop engineering designs using AutoCAD and REVIT software tools.
  • Draft specifications in Masterspec and drawing formats for project documentation.
  • Conduct detailed field surveys and site visits to assess project requirements.
  • Delegate tasks to engineers and designers, overseeing production and design quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and sub-consultants during project meetings.
  • Perform systems studies and building evaluations using SKM software.
  • Provide construction administration support, including site visits and documentation reviews.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop electrical engineering designs and specifications adhering to project requirements.
  • Perform field surveys and site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients and sub-consultants, for seamless execution.
  • Conduct Arc Flash Hazard Analyses, Coordination Studies, and Short Circuit Studies.
  • Utilize SKM software for systems studies and building evaluations.
  • Oversee construction administration tasks, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  • Resolve technical challenges and provide innovative solutions during project execution.
  • Participate in project meetings and site visits to ensure alignment with objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and SKM software tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Masterspec specifications and drawing formats.
  • Experience conducting Arc Flash Hazard Analyses and Coordination Studies.
  • Ability to manage and delegate tasks effectively within engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
