Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual fund financial statements with precision and compliance.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Review work prepared by third-party fund administrators to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate fund distributions and capital activity efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary support to external auditors.
  • Participate in process improvements and contribute to operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior accounting leadership on ad hoc projects and financial analysis.
  • Partner with internal teams across finance, operations, and investment teams for seamless operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or relevant fund accounting experience preferred.
  • CPA or CPA track is strongly preferred for this role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate and present findings.
  • High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity to drive improvements.
  • Ability to operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a proactive approach.
  • Experience with process improvements and operational initiatives is advantageous.
