Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual fund financial statements with precision and compliance.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Review work prepared by third-party fund administrators to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate fund distributions and capital activity efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary support to external auditors.
- Participate in process improvements and contribute to operational initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior accounting leadership on ad hoc projects and financial analysis.
- Partner with internal teams across finance, operations, and investment teams for seamless operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- 1–3 years of experience in public accounting or relevant fund accounting experience preferred.
- CPA or CPA track is strongly preferred for this role.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements is essential.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate and present findings.
- High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity to drive improvements.
- Ability to operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a proactive approach.
- Experience with process improvements and operational initiatives is advantageous.
