Job Description

Overview

  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and clinical ratings for CNS-focused clinical trials, ensuring precision and adherence to protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support study objectives and enhance data reliability.
  • Provide participants with clear guidance on assessment procedures and study requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on clinical findings and study outcomes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of participant data throughout the study duration.
  • Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric rating scales and clinical assessment tools.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in professional training sessions and sponsor-required meetings as necessary.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer and interpret psychiatric diagnostic interviews and psychometric tests for clinical trials.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and verification of clinical data in study databases.
  • Monitor participant status for adverse events and report findings promptly to the research team.
  • Participate in study meetings and training sessions to align with protocol requirements.
  • Travel to investigator meetings or study sites as required to support study operations.
  • Apply clinical guidelines effectively to ensure consistency and compliance in assessments.
  • Collaborate with team members to address challenges and optimize study outcomes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support research goals.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, clinical psychology, or a related field required.
  • Doctoral degree in psychology, psychometrics, or neuroscience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric rating scales and psychometric assessments.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting clinical scales and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and disease-specific clinical scales.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in clinical research or clinical trials is essential.
