Job Description

Overview

  • Provide personalized employment services to individuals with diverse needs, fostering career growth and meaningful job placements.
  • Support clients in resume building, interview preparation, and skill enhancement to maximize employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and client success.
  • Offer workplace coaching and conflict resolution to promote positive work environments for supported individuals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports to monitor client progress and ensure compliance.
  • Assist clients with transportation training, including route planning and travel logistics.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and team meetings to enhance service quality and professional development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Identify potential employers and develop job opportunities tailored to client needs.
  • Provide on-site coaching, skill training, and advocacy to support client workplace success.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and advocates to address concerns and track progress.
  • Resolve workplace conflicts and promote ethical work practices among supported individuals.
  • Offer case management services, including referrals to counseling and community programs.
  • Complete required documentation, including progress reports and service tracking forms.
  • Engage in professional development activities to stay informed on industry best practices.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; certifications in related fields are advantageous.
  • Minimum of six months experience supporting individuals with diverse needs, such as ID/DD or TBI.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various work sites as needed.
  • Strong documentation skills for accurate record-keeping and reporting purposes.
  • Proficiency in job coaching and conflict resolution within workplace settings.
  • Familiarity with ACCES-VR processes and requirements is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills to effectively support and empower clients.
