Overview

  • Oversee and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, fostering collaboration and professional development to achieve clinical excellence.
  • Drive innovative practices to improve clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction across the organization.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align clinical operations with organizational objectives and strategic goals.
  • Engage in recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining the highest quality of care and operational integrity.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making to drive membership growth and organizational success.
  • Travel locally and nationally for professional development, recruitment, and training activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide direct patient care, managing acute and chronic conditions with a focus on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor healthcare providers, fostering professional growth and achieving clinical excellence across the organization.
  • Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and continuity of care, enhancing overall patient experience.
  • Conduct regular leadership meetings to assess and improve clinical and operational performance metrics.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train healthcare providers to support organizational expansion and service delivery excellence.
  • Partner with operational leaders to optimize financial performance and drive patient membership growth initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities and patient care, adhering to industry standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to maintain certifications and stay current with healthcare advancements.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with active licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with a preference for leadership roles in healthcare settings.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in healthcare-related applications and Microsoft Office Suite for operational management.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to travel locally and nationally for training, recruitment, and professional development purposes.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching clinical staff to achieve organizational goals and enhance team performance.
