Overview
- Lead nursing operations in a dynamic Labor and Delivery unit as Assistant Nurse Manager.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage clinical and operational activities during assigned shifts in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Provide managerial presence and leadership support across all shifts.
- Ensure adherence to nursing protocols and patient care standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Mentor and guide nursing staff to achieve professional excellence.
- Facilitate shared governance and encourage staff participation in decision-making processes.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing performance to ensure quality care delivery.
- Support implementation of hospital initiatives and improvement programs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Active California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit.
- Preferred 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing and leadership roles.
- Experience as Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse in Labor and Delivery.
- Familiarity with shared governance and acute care hospital operations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage nursing teams effectively.
