Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Green Key Resources is looking for a Technical Business Developer to join our dynamic IT contract staffing division. This role focuses on expanding our client base, fostering relationships within the technology sector, and delivering tailored staffing solutions to meet organizational needs. The ideal candidate is driven, financially motivated, and possesses a strong understanding of IT hiring trends and contingent labor models. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and engage companies to generate new contract staffing opportunities within the IT and technical landscape.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activity to develop targeted sales strategies and identify market opportunities.
  • Prospect and qualify leads through outreach, networking, referrals, and market intelligence efforts.
  • Pitch staffing solutions, negotiate contracts, and secure new client agreements to drive revenue growth.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying additional project needs and opportunities for increased service offerings.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to align business development efforts with talent acquisition strategies.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with IT hiring managers and decision-makers.
  • Ensure alignment between client needs and talent delivery strategies through effective communication and coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of agency experience in a client-facing or sales-driven role.
  • Strong understanding of IT skillsets, roles, and industry trends.
  • Proven experience with cold calling, outbound outreach, and consistent follow-up to drive new business.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to representing clients and candidates with integrity.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven sales environment.
