Overview

  • Lead financial strategy and operations for a growing organization with a focus on scalable infrastructure and data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and M&A activities to support organizational growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align financial goals with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement financial systems and processes to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
  • Support acquisition diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning for strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Own the monthly close process and produce accurate, timely three-statement financials.
  • Develop and institutionalize reporting packages, including board and lender materials.
  • Oversee ERP integration and process standardization across multiple locations.
  • Implement job costing discipline and gross margin analytics to enhance operational finance.
  • Lead treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
  • Manage banking relationships and optimize financing structures for organizational growth.
  • Support acquisition diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning for M&A activities.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports, establishing accountability and performance standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience leading financial audits.
  • Proven expertise in treasury and cash flow management, including financial covenants.
  • Experience with ERP implementation and financial systems integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale businesses through greenfield growth and M&A integration.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and KPI dashboard development.
  • Operational fluency in construction or field services environments preferred.
