Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the strategic design and optimization of manufacturing facilities to ensure operational efficiency and scalability across multiple sites.
  • Develop and implement advanced factory layouts and material flow systems tailored for high-throughput operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful site launches and operational readiness.
  • Utilize data-driven methodologies to enhance production systems and achieve continuous improvement.
  • Design production systems aligned with takt time, throughput, and output targets for optimal performance.
  • Standardize processes and documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency across locations.
  • Plan and execute capacity models and ramp strategies for new and existing manufacturing sites.
  • Implement tooling, fixtures, and infrastructure to support facility readiness and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of new factory builds, ensuring seamless transition from design to operational readiness.
  • Develop scalable layouts and production systems for efficient multi-site deployment and high-throughput operations.
  • Design and implement production lines, workstations, and labor models to meet operational targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to install critical infrastructure and ensure facility readiness.
  • Establish standard operating procedures and documentation for consistency across manufacturing sites.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Facilities, and Quality teams to ensure successful site launches.
  • Analyze and utilize operational data to drive continuous improvement and optimize production systems.
  • Develop capacity models and ramp strategies to identify constraints and implement scalable solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in factory layout and design tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Strong foundation in lean manufacturing principles and production ramp planning.
  • Proven track record in launching and scaling manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to operate strategically and hands-on during factory bring-up phases.
  • Experience with capacity modeling and developing scalable solutions for production systems.
  • Adaptable and growth-oriented mindset to navigate dynamic production demands.
