Job Description

Overview

  • Lead enterprise employee communications, HR communications, and executive messaging to enhance organizational alignment, engagement, and trust.
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies, governance frameworks, and measurement systems for impactful communication delivery.
  • Manage internal communication channels, including intranet, email, digital signage, and events, ensuring consistent and effective messaging.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, Compliance, and senior leadership to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable information to employees.
  • Create and oversee the communication calendar to optimize sequencing and reduce overlaps in organizational messaging.
  • Develop executive-ready content for town halls, strategic updates, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide strategic advice to HR leaders on message architecture, audience segmentation, and channel selection.
  • Support change communications, crisis response, and enterprise updates with strategic discipline and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define and implement internal communication strategies aligned with organizational priorities and goals.
  • Manage internal communication platforms, ensuring effective delivery of messages across various channels.
  • Collaborate with HR to design and execute communication plans for employee initiatives, policies, and programs.
  • Develop and maintain a communication calendar to streamline messaging and avoid overlaps.
  • Prepare executive communications, including scripts, FAQs, and manager toolkits for organizational updates.
  • Lead change communication efforts for reorganizations, acquisitions, and policy shifts.
  • Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness, implementing improvements based on data insights.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in internal communications or HR communications.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute communication strategies and frameworks.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and judgment in sensitive environments.
  • Familiarity with modern communication platforms and tools, including intranet and digital signage.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement measurement and change management methodologies.
