Job Description

Overview

  • Lead business development initiatives for A&H insurance products in the Pacific North region.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and management teams to optimize client proposals and contracts.
  • Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential clients to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and insurance partners.
  • Prepare and present strategic sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the insurance space.
  • Promote a positive and customer-centric work environment within the sales team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Generate new business leads and promote A&H insurance products and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and distribution plans to achieve targets.
  • Coordinate with underwriting teams to develop and negotiate client proposals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to enhance competitive edge.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management review.
  • Enhance sales processes, tools, and systems for improved efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies governing insurance sales.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, and claims processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Existing network and contacts within the insurance industry preferred.
