Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and present interior design concepts tailored to client needs and project objectives.
  • Create detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, and material specifications.
  • Select and specify finishes, furniture, and materials that align with design goals and budgets.
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, ADA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Lead and collaborate with project teams to achieve cohesive and successful outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines.
  • Utilize design software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite to produce accurate and visually appealing work.
  • Coordinate with architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of interior designs within overall project frameworks.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in interior design, showcasing a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • NCIDQ certification or active pursuit of certification is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts.
  • Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and interior construction documentation practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
