Overview

  • Act as a strategic HR advisor, driving workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives for a dynamic organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize onboarding processes and support informed decision-making across HR functions.
  • Provide expertise in employee relations, compensation analysis, and learning and development strategies to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Engage in unionized workforce management, utilizing guild or union experience to ensure effective collaboration and compliance.
  • Lead special HR projects aimed at driving innovation, enhancing employee experience, and supporting organizational growth.
  • Deliver high-level HR services while building trust and maintaining strong relationships with senior management.
  • Work within a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities to meet organizational needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and enhance organizational performance.
  • Provide coaching and consultation to senior leaders on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational change.
  • Administer performance management programs, ensuring effective linkage between pay and performance.
  • Facilitate organizational change initiatives using proven methodologies and tools to drive successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools to streamline HR operations and processes.
  • Support employees covered by collective bargaining agreements, ensuring compliance and fostering positive relations.
  • Lead innovative HR programs and initiatives to cultivate a high-performance and inclusive work culture.
  • Engage in employee relations activities, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; advanced certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR Business Partner experience, with 5 years in senior-level roles.
  • Proficiency in talent management, organizational effectiveness, and change management methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws, including collective bargaining agreements.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to build trust with senior management.
  • Experience in administering HR programs and effectively linking pay to performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems for efficient HR operations.
  • Ability to navigate complex conversations and deliver strategic HR solutions independently.
