Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Room patients efficiently and ensure their comfort during clinical visits.
  • Obtain and record vital signs accurately for patient assessments.
  • Administer injections and perform blood draws following established protocols.
  • Update and maintain patient medical histories in the EMR system.
  • Assist in clinical procedures and provide support to healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide excellent interpersonal communication to enhance patient satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience in rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and performing blood draws.
  • Ability to administer injections and assist in clinical procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
