Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver patient-centered care in the Med/Surg Orthopedics Unit, adhering to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, following physician orders and hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on health management, recovery processes, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies, ensuring a safe and efficient care environment.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 3 years preferred.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Experience in Med/Surg Orthopedics and familiarity with EPIC systems preferred.
- Strong commitment to patient care and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends with applicable shift differentials.
