Overview

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform reconciliation and variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes.
- Assist Finance and Investor Relations teams with responses to due diligence requests and stakeholder inquiries.
- Prepare and distribute operational and KPI reports, including financial dashboards and business review materials.
- Support annual budgeting, reforecasting, and expenditure tracking in collaboration with various departments.
- Coordinate vendor payments and prioritize based on operational needs and urgency.
- Develop variance bridges and financial commentary to analyze project-level performance.
- Assist in coding purchase orders and ensuring accurate financial treatment in collaboration with Accounting.
- Utilize advanced Excel functionalities and ERP systems for efficient financial management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Accounting, Corporate Finance, or FP&A; recent graduates are welcome.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to the energy, oil & gas industry is beneficial.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
