Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage accounts payable, receivables, invoices, wires, and bank reconciliations with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare and process investment and expense payments for managed funds, ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with external accounting firms, fund administrators, and custodians to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist in capital calls, distribution notices, and waterfall calculation processes for fund management.
  • Perform reviews of K-1 and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Prepare entries in QuickBooks and conduct custodial reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial reports and support strategic financial initiatives as required.
  • Contribute to the preparation of NAV reporting and related financial documents for stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, with expertise in waterfall calculations and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NAV reporting and tax return preparation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of 1099 and 1099LS preparation processes is advantageous.
