Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage accounts payable, receivables, invoices, wires, and bank reconciliations with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare and process investment and expense payments for managed funds, ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with external accounting firms, fund administrators, and custodians to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist in capital calls, distribution notices, and waterfall calculation processes for fund management.
- Perform reviews of K-1 and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Prepare entries in QuickBooks and conduct custodial reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Provide ad-hoc financial reports and support strategic financial initiatives as required.
- Contribute to the preparation of NAV reporting and related financial documents for stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, with expertise in waterfall calculations and financial modeling.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with NAV reporting and tax return preparation is preferred.
- Knowledge of 1099 and 1099LS preparation processes is advantageous.
