Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee fund accounting operations, delivering timely and accurate financial outputs.
- Review and approve Net Asset Value calculations and financial statement preparation.
- Manage fund-specific expenses, including management fees and carried interest calculations.
- Coordinate external audit processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with client integration teams for seamless onboarding and fund conversions.
- Evaluate team performance and provide coaching to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments and stakeholders for alignment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA or CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years in private equity fund accounting, with leadership experience.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and fund accounting platforms, such as FIS Investran.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Experience in financial statement preparation and general ledger reviews.
- Knowledge of waterfall structures and private equity fund operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
