Overview

  • Lead fund accounting operations for private equity assets, ensuring precision, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with global teams to optimize processes and enhance financial reporting accuracy.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and manage a team of professionals, fostering growth and high performance.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining operational integrity.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and stakeholders, addressing complex financial challenges.
  • Participate in technology-driven projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, auditors, and internal teams for seamless collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee fund accounting operations, delivering timely and accurate financial outputs.
  • Review and approve Net Asset Value calculations and financial statement preparation.
  • Manage fund-specific expenses, including management fees and carried interest calculations.
  • Coordinate external audit processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with client integration teams for seamless onboarding and fund conversions.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide coaching to enhance skills and efficiency.
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments and stakeholders for alignment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years in private equity fund accounting, with leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and fund accounting platforms, such as FIS Investran.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and general ledger reviews.
  • Knowledge of waterfall structures and private equity fund operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
