Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and refine therapy strategies and monitor progress.
- Provide parents with resources and training to reinforce therapy objectives at home.
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices.
- Regularly review therapy plans and outcomes with supervisors to ensure effectiveness.

Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or a related field required.
- Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped or equivalent preferred.
- Professional license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the relevant state required.
- Strong knowledge of IEPs and their application in therapy settings.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Ability to maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with procedural standards.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings is highly preferred.
