Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and enhance procurement strategies, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and vendor optimization across organizational needs.
  • Drive procurement lifecycle management, from vendor sourcing to contract negotiation and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement processes with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Utilize ERP systems to manage purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and execute requests for proposals, evaluating vendor performance against established criteria.
  • Support budget planning and tracking, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of operational dashboards to monitor procurement performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft and manage comprehensive requests for proposals and vendor evaluation frameworks.
  • Optimize vendor master listings, fostering strong and reliable supplier relationships.
  • Process purchase orders and reconcile invoices using advanced ERP systems.
  • Ensure contract compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in budget development and monitor projected spending against actuals.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards to evaluate procurement efficiency and identify improvement areas.
  • Track and maintain inventory levels to support operational requirements.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and participate in special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of procurement experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP financial systems and advanced computer applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
  • Experience interacting with management and external vendors effectively.
  • Knowledge of SOX requirements, GAAP, and tax regulations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare professional documents and presentations.
  • Technical proficiency and ability to research and apply relevant information.
