Overview
- Lead the corporate accounting function with strategic oversight and technical expertise.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and global accounting standards.
- Manage a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Drive process transformation and ERP optimization for enhanced financial transparency.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors and internal audit teams.
- Oversee intercompany accounting, eliminations, and global consolidations.
- Implement new FASB/SEC standards and draft accounting policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for tax planning and capital market transactions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review external reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports, coordinating with corporate reporting teams.
- Lead technical accounting initiatives, including M&A and fund consolidation.
- Optimize the Workday ERP environment for process automation and efficiency.
- Develop and manage corporate accounting teams, both onshore and offshore.
- Ensure robust SOX compliance frameworks and scalable control environments.
- Partner with international teams for earnings releases and financial planning.
- Present financial results and control frameworks to senior leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate accounting or related roles.
- Preferred 12 years of experience with leadership and technical accounting expertise.
- Proficiency in US GAAP, SEC regulations, and global accounting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday, for process optimization.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
- Ability to manage and develop high-performing teams across global locations.
- Expertise in SOX compliance and control framework implementation.
