Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the corporate accounting function with strategic oversight and technical expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and global accounting standards.
  • Manage a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Drive process transformation and ERP optimization for enhanced financial transparency.
  • Act as a liaison with external auditors and internal audit teams.
  • Oversee intercompany accounting, eliminations, and global consolidations.
  • Implement new FASB/SEC standards and draft accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for tax planning and capital market transactions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review external reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly reports, coordinating with corporate reporting teams.
  • Lead technical accounting initiatives, including M&A and fund consolidation.
  • Optimize the Workday ERP environment for process automation and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage corporate accounting teams, both onshore and offshore.
  • Ensure robust SOX compliance frameworks and scalable control environments.
  • Partner with international teams for earnings releases and financial planning.
  • Present financial results and control frameworks to senior leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate accounting or related roles.
  • Preferred 12 years of experience with leadership and technical accounting expertise.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP, SEC regulations, and global accounting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday, for process optimization.
  • Strong skills in financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
  • Ability to manage and develop high-performing teams across global locations.
  • Expertise in SOX compliance and control framework implementation.
