Overview

  • Lead estimation processes for projects within the pharmaceutical architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate project cost assessments and resource allocation.
  • Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and pricing trends.
  • Support project managers in budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and client expectations in estimation processes.
  • Provide detailed reports and documentation to stakeholders for decision-making purposes.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for pharmaceutical AEC projects based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to align estimates with project designs.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive and accurate pricing strategies.
  • Review and validate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and feasibility.
  • Monitor project budgets and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain estimation tools and templates for consistent application.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior estimators and team members.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with regulatory and safety standards.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimation within the AEC industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools relevant to the industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical AEC standards and practices is advantageous.
