Risk Project Manager

Overview

• Collaborate with a global financial services firm to manage risk-related projects and initiatives.
• Provide PMO support for governance, regulatory, and strategic risk initiatives.
• Coordinate project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items across multiple workstreams.
• Track progress and escalate risks, issues, and blockers as appropriate.
• Support stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination efforts.
• Prepare status reports, governance materials, and management updates.
• Assist with project management of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) activities.
• Contribute to committee governance activities, including meeting coordination and action tracking.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain project plans and schedules for risk management initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks proactively.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure effective communication across teams.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
• Support RCSA and ORSA project activities, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Assist in the development of governance frameworks and processes.
• Provide expertise in risk management methodologies and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within financial services.
• Proficiency in managing RCSA and ORSA projects is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience in risk, compliance, internal audit, or governance environments preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities effectively.
• Self-starter with a proactive and execution-oriented mindset.
