Overview
- Collaborate with a global financial services firm to manage risk-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide PMO support for governance, regulatory, and strategic risk initiatives.
- Coordinate project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and action items across multiple workstreams.
- Track progress and escalate risks, issues, and blockers as appropriate.
- Support stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination efforts.
- Prepare status reports, governance materials, and management updates.
- Assist with project management of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) activities.
- Contribute to committee governance activities, including meeting coordination and action tracking.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules for risk management initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks proactively.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
- Support RCSA and ORSA project activities, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Assist in the development of governance frameworks and processes.
- Provide expertise in risk management methodologies and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within financial services.
- Proficiency in managing RCSA and ORSA projects is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
- Experience in risk, compliance, internal audit, or governance environments preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities effectively.
- Self-starter with a proactive and execution-oriented mindset.
