Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver commercial construction projects in various industries.
  • Manage ground-up and renovation projects ranging from $2M to $20M.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on-site.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and junior staff.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of construction sites, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to meet project requirements.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to construction plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges that arise during construction phases.
  • Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders regularly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing commercial construction projects successfully.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
