Overview

  • Lead human resources strategies and initiatives for a regional organization, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and implement HR policies to meet organizational needs and comply with legal requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration across multiple facilities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to address complex HR issues and drive organizational success.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop strategies for improving employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with affirmative action goals and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Represent management in collective bargaining agreements and labor relations matters.
  • Provide training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Administer HR policies and procedures to ensure organizational alignment and legal compliance.
  • Manage recruitment processes, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee performance management systems and provide guidance on employee evaluations.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and provide support to management in handling sensitive matters.
  • Analyze workforce metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Develop training programs on diversity, harassment prevention, and workplace safety.
  • Ensure compliance with affirmative action policies and promote equal employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR staff to exchange information and address operational challenges.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, affirmative action policies, and diversity initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage employee relations effectively.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Experience in collective bargaining and labor relations is highly desirable.
