Overview
- Lead and manage IT and cybersecurity operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring secure infrastructure and compliance with government security frameworks.
- Develop and implement secure enterprise IT systems, including endpoint management, IAM, cloud, and on-premises solutions.
- Drive cybersecurity engineering initiatives, including vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring.
- Architect secure environments supporting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified programs.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver scalable, secure technology solutions that support organizational growth.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing IT and cybersecurity team, establishing processes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR, and other government security requirements.
- Develop and enforce IT security protocols for domestic and international operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, build, and manage secure enterprise IT infrastructure, including network architecture and computing clusters.
- Develop and maintain security automation and custom cybersecurity solutions using scripting and programming languages.
- Lead compliance programs and coordinate successful assessments for government security frameworks.
- Implement secure environments for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified programs.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to deliver secure technology solutions.
- Build and mentor a high-performing IT and cybersecurity team.
- Develop and enforce IT security protocols for secure travel and field deployments.
- Support mission-critical activities with secure infrastructure design and operational procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in systems administration, cybersecurity engineering, and infrastructure management.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, scripting, and programming languages.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, and ITAR.
- Strong understanding of networking, identity management, cloud infrastructure, and endpoint security.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, Security+, CySA+, CASP+, CMMC Certified Professional, or CEH.
- Experience leading infrastructure and security initiatives with hands-on technical implementation.
