Job Description

Overview

  • Lead strategic financial planning and analysis initiatives to drive organizational growth and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and manage key financial metrics, dashboards, and KPIs for performance monitoring.
  • Support organizational strategy discussions with data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and Board materials, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Drive the development of scalable financial processes and forecasting models.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting updates in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Oversee monthly financial reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and readiness for executive review.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives and resource planning.
  • Analyze financial performance trends and deliver actionable insights to leadership teams.
  • Support cash flow management, capital planning, and resource allocation decisions.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare and present financial information to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Lead financial evaluation of new business initiatives and operational investments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance leadership roles; 20 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
  • Experience in high-growth, private equity-backed environments preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and PowerBI preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and support strategic business decisions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business-related events and meetings.
