Traveling Superintendent

Overview

• Oversee ground-up commercial construction projects with travel across Ohio and surrounding states.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure project success.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage jobsite documentation, daily reports, inspections, and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with project management teams to achieve project milestones effectively.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare facility protocols and infection control procedures.
• Utilize construction software tools for efficient project management and reporting.
• Provide leadership and foster a culture of safety and quality on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead on-site construction efforts from mobilization through project turnover.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage jobsite documentation, daily reports, inspections, and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with project management teams to achieve project milestones effectively.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; advanced certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience on commercial or light industrial projects.
• Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• OSHA 30 certification required for compliance and safety management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage fast-paced construction sites.
• Willingness to travel across Ohio and surrounding states for project oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure safety and quality in dynamic environments.
• Experience in managing healthcare facility protocols and infection control procedures.
