Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for hospice staff, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate staff competencies and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and implement targeted solutions.
- Support staff in obtaining certifications and advancing their professional qualifications.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospice care; 6 years preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in New York State required.
- CHPN certification preferred; willingness to obtain within the first year.
- Proven experience in clinical education, mentoring, or preceptorship roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support staff.
- Ability to travel occasionally to other locations for training purposes.
