Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Draft and manage agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, and transaction-related documents.
- Support corporate transactions by preparing signature packets and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Maintain corporate records for subsidiaries and investment entities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Assist with entity formation, lifecycle management, and governance processes.
- Handle compliance functions, including KYC/AML requests and investor onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate with finance, compliance, and operations teams to streamline legal operations.
- Maintain legal databases and archives, ensuring accessibility and accuracy of records.
- Provide proactive support for legal projects and initiatives to enhance organizational compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate or finance-driven environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal technology tools for efficient operations.
- Experience with contracts, transactions, and multi-entity corporate structures.
- CT and/or NY notary public certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing sensitive information.
- Ability to travel between offices as required in a hybrid work setting.
