Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the accounting function by ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records across the general ledger and balance sheet.
  • Execute key components of the month-end close, preparing reconciliations and maintaining internal controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reliable and efficient accounting operations.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple entities to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Support audit requests by preparing documentation, reconciliations, and schedules.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation tasks.
  • Engage in a hybrid work environment with three days in-office per week.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations with clear supporting documentation.
  • Perform timely daily and weekly reconciliations of cash accounts for all entities.
  • Support treasury and cash reporting activities for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with auditors by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Utilize ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or Dynamics 365, for accounting operations.
  • Analyze large datasets to create efficient and meaningful workpapers.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of assigned accounts and reconciliations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred; CPA certification is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions like v/xlookup, pivot tables, and sumproduct.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Dynamics 365.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing large volumes of data efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
