Job Description

Overview

  • Act as a Compliance Officer in a dynamic organization, ensuring regulatory adherence and operational integrity.
  • Analyze compliance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to maintain organizational standards.
  • Deliver training programs on regulatory requirements and best practices to internal teams.
  • Evaluate internal controls and processes, recommending enhancements to mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate responses to inquiries from regulatory bodies and legal entities.
  • Support vendor due diligence and third-party risk management initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide compliance support to property and asset management teams, addressing regulatory challenges.
  • Analyze compliance testing results to identify and address risk trends effectively.
  • Draft and disseminate compliance-related communications and procedural updates.
  • Deliver comprehensive training on policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and improve compliance processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory and legal inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Support monitoring and testing programs to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support compliance initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related areas.
  • Preferred experience in real estate property management or financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
